LIFE:

Alexey’s first DJ sets are held back in 1997, in small clubs. Moving quickly to the largest at the time Russian electronic music festivals, such as “DJ’s Parade”, “Dance Planet” and “Kazantip”.
The first set under the name “Romeo” was played in the 1998, at the same year as the first “KaZantip” set. Then were the parties in the “Port” club (Played with the Klubbheads).
In the early 2000s, Romeo was one of the most stylish DJs in Russia, promoting intellectual dance music. At that time Alexey firstly became a resident, and later, an art director of the first private club “Absinth” (Saint-Petersburg). The unique “Only for chosen circle” format of this place with carefully picked musical format and regular original exclusive parties elevate Romeo to the top of the list of  Russian DJs.
In the 2003, the “Absinth” club reaches the peak of popularity and Alexey releases the bestseller mix CD “Absinth mix”. Radio “Record” offers to launch brand new CD compilation “VIP MIX” (Last release in 2011). Based on “VIP MIX” Alexey and Radio “Record” produce same-name house festivals, featuring such guests as: Timo Maas, Alex Gaudino, Tocadisco and other well known artists.
In 2003 Alexey founded his own record label “Natural Selection”, focusing on giving the younger DJs and musicians the opportunity to express themselves and to reach large arenas.  Later the label becomes the largest in Saint-Petersburg studio of “NS Recording” format.
In 2005 after the closure of the “Absinth” club, Alexey Romeo tries promoting and holds two summer events at the yacht club, featuring Ian Pooley and Chris Willis.
In 2006 Romeo became the guest of the largest WMC-format conference in Miami, as a special Russian representative. Year later he became first Russian DJ, officially announced at the closing ceremony, playing at Paul Oakenfold’s opening act. He then continues to develop own projects in club and restaurant industry, sound recording and promotion, healthy lifestyle and travelling.
In 2009, while searching for own musical style, Alexey Romeo again goes to Kazantip, where in the next 4 seasons presents his tech-house style. Besides the Kazantip, in 2009, Romeo performs at “Ultra music festival” in Miami, becoming the first Russian DJ in the history of festival.
On the wave of popularity from foreign festivals in 2012 Alexey Romeo founds “Heartbeat” – a new EDM-format label (that have been supported by Tiesto, David Guetta, Steve ANgello, Eric Morillo, etc…)
But in the 2014 Alexey realizes that EDM was a wrong choice and changes direction of the label. Today it produces music in styles of house, tech-house and deep-house.
In 2014 Romeo VIP Terrace are opened in Saint-Petersburg. The opening ceremony features such guests as Hosh, Serge Devant, Metodi Hristov, Mekanism, Olivier Giacomotto, Wade, Mihalis Safras, Monkey Brothers. In the same year Alexey Romeo, after five years brak, revives the tradition and holds Romeo VIP MIX in Petrozavodsk, and also launches the VIP Records music label, specializing in vocal and commercial sound.
For the past several years, Alexey Romeo has participated in many top-level fashion and club events, including large dance-festivals like “Sensation”, “ULTRA (Miami WMC Closing Event), KaZantip and made international tours in such jet-set destinations as New York, Miami, Las Vegas, Ibiza, Amsterdam, Berlin, Istanbul and others.

Alexey Romeo had multiple performances abroad: Ibiza, New York, Miami, Amsterdam, Las Vegas, Istanbul, Helsinki, Rio-De-Janeiro.
